Life to the full?!
Hey guys!!
Well its turning out to be a pretty tough week!!! And Ive just found a verse that pretty much sums it up....
John 10v10...The thief comes to steal and destroy but I have come that they may have life and have it to the full!
Recently it just seems that Satan is winning the living with joy battle in my life!! Its like He knows just how to get me down about things....that little voice in my head thats telling me Im not going to be a good enough teacher (although I did manage to loose one boy in my class today!! Apparently he wanted to have a quick play in the school garden rather than going home with his mum!!! ) or the voice that says I'm not pretty enough or funny enough or chatty enough...etc...etc, basically the voice that makes you want to be anyone else but yourself!!! Think we all have things that we dont like about ourselves!! And some days it can make us feel a bit down BUT when I got home today I picked up the word for today - for today! Basically Satan wants to ruin us and he can use our deepest anxieties or insecurities...but theres another voice! GOD!! And I guess it comes back to the whole quiet time thing again!! We need to take time to listen to what God has to say to us! I cant remember exactly where the verse is found but theres a verse that says....
'For we are Gods workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works which God planned in advance for us to do!!'
Brill!!! So just really want to encourage you all...God sees EXACTLY who you are! And He LOVES you...just as you are! You dont need to change anything about yourself, you are a work of art, created to do good works!!! SO lets get busy!!

Hey rosi! wow thats some great inspiring words, I feel it relates to us all and we all can get bumbed down by our appearance and what people think of us. A few years ago (and sometimes now) I had a very hard time with my appearance, I had a face covered in spots and they never seemed to go away, I always used to think people were looking at my spots and not my whole face and I spent quite alot of my time looking down when people were talkin to me so they wudnt see my face. Now I just get on with it.
I am quite an image conscious person and I admit I can be quick to judge people by there appearance but lately it's really been on my mind, I look beyond the outward image and try a see the true person. I've been noticing myself looking at people and thinking do they have God in their lives, God has created them but do they really realise how wonderful he is.
Isn't it great to know someone loves us no matter how we may look or feel, and that he's always there when we need him most.

Well babes!! You know exactly how i feel about this whole thing!! You truly are an amazing person and someone i have always admired and looked up to!! (if it wasnt for you then i wudnt be a child of God) I dnt think you'll ever realise how much of an impact you have on ppl and how much God uses the Rosi Bell he created to touch the lives of young people and friends (and anyone you come into contact with!!)

Glad you found that passage out of word for today- it's something I found real encouraging as well. I think its important that we take time each day to listen for Gods voice, cos its all too easy to get distracted by other voices. But His is the only one that matters. And by the way ros, you've been a great friend to me- you've really helped me over the past few weeks especially. Plus you always cheer me up and your the funniest person I know. So you see, you really are wonderful! Don't let anyone ever tell you otherwise.

Hey Rosi, just keep remembering what God thinks of you when Satan tries telling you what you fear most. God says He's thrilled with you, and thats enough! Thats enough for me too! Its amazin! Have a great week in school and don't let the bad thoughts take hold - take them straight to Jesus!
